Women’s and men’s World Cups in rugby union and women’s and men’s Ashes cricket series are on the 2023 sporting calendar.
England, the reigning champions of European football, will begin playing in the Women’s World Cup on July 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
In France, the men’s rugby union World Cup begins in September.
In June and July, England’s men and women compete for the Ashes again, and in October and November, England’s men compete in India to defend their 50-over World Cup victory.
In addition, in February, the women’s teams of England and Ireland compete in the T20 World Cup in South Africa.
Additionally, a World Athletics Championship and a Netball World Championship are held in Cape Town and Budapest, respectively.
At the inaugural World Cycling Championships in August, the greatest riders in the world will compete for 13 titles in Glasgow.
Back-to-back Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup competitions take place in the autumn, with Europe’s women vying for the trophy in Spain and Europe’s men vying for it in the United States.
